'Ecological Collapse and National Security'... The TIMES reveals that the security assessment published this week is incomplete

Huge news this morning: confirming what I have suggested in recent days

So here is where we are: the Government tried to suppress this security assessment report, as reported by the Times last October. They have been forced to release it; they tried to hide its release in the middle of Greenland. But now, today, we learn from the Times that they still haven’t released an unredacted version of it.

What a scandal. But the real scandal is that citizens have been left not knowing exactly what horrors we are likely to have to endure in the coming years. Everyone needs to know the full, uncensored, version of what is in this report: because otherwise we aren’t informed enough to be able to start to try to adapt to the national-security and local-living implications of these forecasted ecosystem collapses. Let the cover-up stop here: let us all see the detail of what we are really up against.

A strategy of very-well-resourced, nature-based based climate adaptation is the most crucial single thing we need to do, once we have taken on board the awful forecasts contained in the full uncensored version of this report (as partly now laid out in The Times). The Government will be risking the lives of many British citizens — and irrevocably so — if it does not put together a very-well-funded plan of preparedness to enable us all to cope with what is going to be coming at us over the next decade.

This is now definitively a national security threat: let’s treat it like one.
